DIY Heart-Shaped Ring Holder

To be honest, I'm constantly misplacing my most beloved possession - my wedding ring. I take it off when washing my hands, doing dishes, cooking and taking a shower, but never have one special place for it. Most times, I forget where I put it and then have to go on the journey of finding it... much to the dismay of my husband, who knows how much talent I have in losing things (sometimes even important things). I've been wanting to have a special place for my ring for a while, but I rather make something instead of buying it (it's so much more fun, right?).
I decided to use Fimo (which I love!) to make a heart-shaped bowl and then painted it with gold acrylic paint. Also, I wanted to give it my own and unique touch and therefore added my initials and wedding date (after all, it's mostly intended for my wedding ring).

 What I used:
- Silver Fimo (you may need one or two packages depending on the desired size)
- Paint brush
- Acrylic pain in gold

Direction:
Knead the Fimo until it's completely softened. Form the Fimo in your desired shape (in this case I made a heart). Once shaped, bake your bowl in the oven for 30 minutes at 110 °C (230 °F). When cool, you can paint the bowl or leave it the way it is!

This would also make a great gift!
